I started Kindle Speech Pathology because I love helping people develop a spark that turns into a fire. With more than a decade of experience working with children, adolescents and adults, helping people achieve a good life continues to motivate me and puts a smile on my face.
I speak both English and Mandarin and have worked in various organisations including the Department of Communities, Nulsen Group, Rocky Bay, Independent Living Centre (now Indigo), a Language Development Centre (LDC), and in private practices which has led me to acquire a wealth of experience across different clinical areas. I enjoy supporting individuals with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLDs) and working with individuals with a disability across the lifespan. I am Sounds-Write trained. My experience includes supporting Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) use, complex communication needs, and helping families to achieve functional and meaningful outcomes. In particular, I also enjoy working with high school students to support essay writing and written expression.
I graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science, Human Communication Science (Hons) in 2008.
Kindle Speech Pathology gives me the opportunity to provide a personalised and practical service to you, including collaborative problem solving to achieve functional outcomes in a range of real-life settings. If this sounds right for you, I would love to hear from you.
